what our guests

have to say

“There is no other place like this. You will feel totally relaxed and overwhelmed with the beauty of this property. Perfect for walks, relaxing and visits to quaint little local spots. The animals are heathy and happy and the produce is amazing. Tony was so hospitable and showed such pride in his wonderful property, which was so lovely to see. So many wonderful little details, from fresh wild flowers to the delicious eggs and organic fruit and vegetables. Thanks Tony!”

“Words cannot describe the magic of this property, the hospitality, or the experience. The views are simply breathtaking and the property provides the opportunity to connect with the land in a truly unique way. We went during spring, and we fortunate enough to be able to interact with hand-reared baby farm animals, not to mention being invited to help ourselves to the sensational organically grown vegetable and herb garden. We were also greeted with 24 farm fresh eggs.

We thank the host from the bottom of our hearts for this experience.”

“This is a beautiful property set on 220 acres of orchards and farm land. The house is stylish, very well appointed and a pleasure to stay in. There’s aircon in all the bedrooms and the living room, the kitchen is modern and fabulous and the outdoor verandas are designed for relaxation. Cool breezes, big wide covered decks overlooking the hinterland, a great BBQ and endless green lovely grass shaded with giant old trees for the kids to play under. The cows wander by, the geese pay the odd visit and Tony, the lovely host will show you around his amazing property if you’d like. Tony stocked us up with dozens of organic eggs, fruit and salad from the organic garden and anything else we needed was only 15 minutes away in Byron. This is a special place!”

“We were looking for a quiet, beautiful and well equipped place to stay for the long weekend and this house 100% delivered. We love to cook, so it was important to us to have a decent kitchen and dining area. The Homestead kitchen offers a 6 burner gas stove, massive oven, BBQ, a large fridge and amazingly well equipped kitchen with heaps of space for up to three cooks. There is a knife block with sharp knives, decent frying pans, plenty of pots and the small but important things like cling wrap, oil and paper towel. There was also a large box of fresh herbs, eggs and vegetables left on the counter left for us, along with coffee beans for the coffee machine. The house is beautifully appointed with a collection of eclectic decor, comfortable beds and a number of great outdoor spaces to eat, drink, read and enjoy the view to the lighthouse. The whole place has a lovely calm and relaxed feel to it and is perfect for groups with or without kids. Our 4 year old loved the kids play area complete with teepee, his own TV and plenty of teddies. The paddock down the driveway houses the most hilarious, random collection of animals who all have big personalities – well worth walking down and getting to know them. Thanks again Tony and Isabelle! We’d love to come back again.”
